Ramesh Karnani

Ramesh Karnani is a seasoned business leader with 30+ years of strategy consulting and investment banking capabilities, and most recently, senior corporate management experience as the Chief Strategy Officer for Boral Ltd. Prior to joining Boral, Ramesh was a Partner and Managing Director with The Boston Consulting Group in the Sydney office where he co-led the Industrial Practice, and then a Senior Partner with Port Jackson Partners (Australia’s leading independent advisory firm).

Before that, he was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse Investment Banking in New York and the co-head of the corporate finance group. Ramesh’s expertise lies in the industrial arena (especially construction and infrastructure sectors), healthcare, and online retailing. Ramesh’s focus in these sectors has been on growth strategies, including mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures, and shareholder value creation.
