Australia’s trade with India has gone down in recent months

Australia’s trade with India has recently dropped, with India’s share of Australian exports falling below 2%, the lowest in 17 years. India has moved from being Australia’s 4th largest export partner to 7th. The decline is attributed to factors like the COVID-19 pandemic, reduced coal imports by India, and the country’s push for self-reliance through the "Atmanirbhar Bharat" strategy.
